Sample Application

The SDK package from Brother Developer Center contains a sample application project. You can see how the printer works using the application built from the project. It's more easy downloading from Google Play for Android.

The application's functionality is briefly described here. The top view of application consists of the following menus.

Menu	Description
Print Image	Print images with any settings and send prn files generated by Windows PC driver.
Print PDF	Print pdfs with any settings
Print Template	Prints using P-touch Templates that have been downloaded to the printer.
Transfer Files	Transfer firmware, P-touch Template, database or any command file to the printer.
Get/Delete Templates	Get or delete templates from the printer.
Printer Info	Get information from the printer.
Printer Configuration	Configure the printer.
Model Spec	Show printer specification.
Validate	Validate print settings.
Information	Show version of SDK and this app.
